Junior Dillon Bray got the victory for the first game (17-4) with help from senior Colton Davis and freshman Jake Moebius.

In Game two, junior Chad Mabini picked up the second victory (10-2) with help from relief freshman Tristan Baker, who made his first collegiate start. Sophomores, Dylan Biumi, Corey Sikes and senior Jonathan Waszak took the mound to finish off the last two innings.

“We threw the ball a lot better than we did in last weeks games. We were mentally, physically and ready to roll,” said Corey Sikes, sophomore pitcher.

Standout hitters were juniors Matt Smith, Bryson Bowman, who had homeruns and seniors Danny Bermudez and Kramer Ferrell who helped get more runs up on the board.

“The pitchers got ahead early and stayed consistent in the zone. Our hitters had more timely at bats which helped us offensively,” said Kramer Ferrell, senior outfielder.

WCU will have another home game Tues. March 8 at 4 pm against Presbyterian College.
